This is the reason why the Solomon Islands and Samoa is highly valued by China. The USN are responding to the Chinese Naval build up. However, the Chinese are building their ships faster and more of vessels comparable to the Americans. Needless to say, the Americans are building more Virginia Class Submarines 13. More Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers (13) and one more Zumult Class Destroyer.
