Samoa the Chinese Blue Water Power Projection in the Pacific Region. US Navy attempts to ugrade to meet the challenge. By Tim Brian Tufuga 11th April 2023.


The USN are responding to the Chinese Naval build up. However, the Chinese are building their ships faster and more of vessels comparable to the Americans.
Needless to say, the Americans are building more Virginia Class Submarines 13. More Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers (13) and one more Zumult Class Destroyer. And three more Aircraft Carriers which I think are pointless since Aircraft Carriers as a Force projection presence within the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Persian Gulf and Pacific Oceans, are strategic overstretch as the Chinese are focused on the South China Sea, Japanese Sea, and the Philippines Sea region and the Western Pacific region, depending on Samoa's acceptance of the Chinese Military port in Samoa will determine the Chinese military Blue Water power projection and will be the purview of the Chinese Military sphere of influence in the Pacific.
Samoa will be the strategic target for the Chinese in projecting their Central Blue Water presence in the Pacific Region whereby the Chinese will be able to send their Submarines and Naval ships to Samoa, including their Aircraft Carriers in the forseeable future? The American Pacific Command and in particular the Seventh Fleet will not have a bar of it and will deter the Chinese from sailing to Samoa and in order to do so the US Navy are hastening the modern build up and replacement of their Naval vessels including Submarines for their Pacific Fleet.
Again, Samoa will be crucial for the Chinese Pacific Region power projection. Samoa is the considered the pinnacle objective and strategic important target for the Chinese Pacific Fleet sphere of influence to counter the Americans.
