Why China scoffs at the AUKUS Virginia class submarines deal for Australia as a deterrance against the Chinese.
Introducing the most lethal missile systems of the world of which the Russian and Chinese nuclear warhead hypersonic missiles are the most advanced and the most lethal than any NATO, QUAD, and AUKUS member Nation possesses.
At the very lethal....the Avangaurd Hypersonic missile enclosed within the Russian Satan ICBM, once the ICBM is within orbit, the Avanguard is launched from the SATAN ICBM, the Avanguard travels at hypersonic speed at up to mach 27, it manuevres avoiding ground launched THAAD anti Ballistic systems and Patriot SAMs, the Avaguard is not interceptable and will reach its target before any NATO nuclear missiles has come even close to any Russian or Chinese targets.
For Australia and NATO Warships, including every single Aircraft carrier especially the Gerald Ford Aucraft carrier. the DF 17 hypersonic glide missiles can not be tracked until it is too late for counter measures and the kinetic energy alone for even one DF 17 anti ship hypersonic missile will sink even the Gerald Ford Aircraft Carrier. Hence, the American Aircraft Carriers are now considered floating Coffins with the DF 17 in the hundreds. When launched against the US Naval fleets, the Chinese will launch many DF 17s at one aircraft carrier renderring aircraft carriers and their AEGIS defensive umbrella obsolete against a barrage of DF 17 hypersonic missiles inbound in the dozens at once. It is expected that the DF 17s in the hundreds will destroy the entire US Naval fleet without any Chinese Aircrafts enroute or any Chinese submarine or warship within the area of operation to confront the US Navy.
In short, Australia had considered the retrospective theatre of war, such as amphibious warfare. As the example of a subsonic neptune anti ship missile that sunk the Russian battle cruiser in the Black Sea, the likelihood of survivability for any warship when a half dozen DF 17 anti ship missiles are enroute to an American, Australian, Japanese or South Korean warship is very very minimal.
The war in Taiwan with China armed with DF 17 alone is a game changer and has renderred the US Navy obsolete whereas the US Submarines will be the only survivors in any naval warfare with China.
Australia has almost ZERO survivability against China armed with their hypersonic missiles especially the DF 31 which can reach every Australian City launched from a Chinese mobile battery. No Virginian class Submarine will be able to interdict in any incoming DF 31 nuclear warhead. The Virginia Class Submarine will only be useful for the survival of their crew from a thermonuclear warfare between China and QUAD plus, and AUKUS.
The determinant factor in the likely outcome of a conventional and likely thermonuclear war between China and Russia versus the West will be whether who will destroy each other first....With the Chinese and Russian Hypersonic missile systems means that China and Russia will have the FIRST STRIKE advantage and the NATO and US nuclear strike will only be the counter strike if they survive the first strike. First strike will have the advantage obviously since the responders will most likely be DEAD!!!
