As you can clearly see, the White Australia Populate or perish policy has been ongoing for the past two centuries. Even today, the largest group of migrants into Australia are still the Anglo Saxons, Poms.
Institutionalised racism has NOT been so subtle in the past two hundred years but recently in the past two decades at least there has been a surge of multiculturalism, particularly from Asia and India.
As a Samoan. we are very visual and one would consider that there are millions of us here. But, then you see the facts of the migration history of Australia and yes....Its been White White White Australia and the Poms head the list of European influx to populate of perish by the neighbourhood, yes, the Pacific Islanders and Asians. Youd think that Australia was parked right next to Ireland in the North Sea. Australia jumps up to defend England in World War One, jumps up to fight the Asians in Korea and Vietnam, in East Timor and the Solomon Islands. And heads off to Afghanistan and Iraq for a fist fight with Arabs. But, would be xenophobic against Asians and Pacific Islanders.
I visit my family at the Beenleigh cemetery and see hundreds of Samoans and I swear that there are way more Samoans in Logan City and Brisbane.
But, then, I see the Australian Bureau of Statistics, where I had worked in the past decade or so, and in this video illustrates my findings as a Census Officer for the ABS and the Australian Federal Government. Yes, we Pacific Islanders and especially Samoans are a mere dot in the Australian migration history.

Yesterday, the Indian Ambassador has presented his credentials to the Samoan Head of State, the Tui Aana. The USN are responding to the Chinese Naval build up. However, the Chinese are building their ships faster and more of vessels comparable to the Americans. Needless to say, the Americans are building more Virginia Class Submarines 13. More Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers (13) and one more Zumult Class Destroyer. And three more Aircraft Carriers which I think are pointless since Aircraft Carriers as a Force projection presence within the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Persian Gulf and Pacific Oceans, are strategic overstretch as the Chinese are focused on the South China Sea, Japanese Sea, and the Philippines Sea region and the Western Pacific region, depending on Samoa's acceptance of the Chinese Military port in Samoa will determine the Chinese military Blue Water power projection and will be the purview of the Chinese Military sphere of influence in the Pacific. China Navy face off with the Royal Australian Navy. Chinese Divers injured with the Sonar pulse affecting the hearing and ears of the Australian Divers.
